Get Genesis back on the road: my ride-share car repair fund
Genesis drives for a living in Vancouver, and a broken fuel pump has stopped all income for 6 weeks.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 6 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Labor charges: $290
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $160
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $750
Every share and every dollar helps.
Updates from Genesis
Quick update: $280 raised so far (23%). we've started the first stage. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
5% there. the plan for labor charges is now scheduled. Thank you.

Hope things get better soon. Shared it with a few friends. Blessings.
Hope you get there. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless.
sending love. Shared this with my family. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings!
Good luck. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
This could happen to any of us. After 20 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
