Get Elias back on the road: my ride-share car repair fund
Elias drives for a living in Gothenburg, and a broken gearbox has stopped all income for 8 weeks.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 8 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,050. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 2 children. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $460
• Labor charges: $220
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $260
• Towing and inspection: $110
