Get Barasa back on the road: my taxi repair fund
Barasa's my taxi is Barasa's only source of income and needs a fuel pump replacement costing $265.

I make my living with my taxi. 7 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $265. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $265 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $165
• Labor charges: $45
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $50
• Towing and inspection: $5

Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Coimbatore so I could bring a meal. Greetings from Accra.
Hang in there. Hope this works out for you. Sent it to 13 people at work. Blessings.
