Get Bakari back on the road: my motorbike repair fund
Bakari drives for a living in Nairobi, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 3 weeks.

I make my living with my motorbike. 3 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $300 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $210
• Labor charges: $50
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $30
• Towing and inspection: $10
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
