HVAC technician needed urgently: Lucas's home isn't safe
Lucas has dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms, and cannot afford a licensed HVAC technician to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In August an inspector told me that my home has dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms. It's a safety risk for me and my two small children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $3,100 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed HVAC technician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $280.
The job should take about six hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a HVAC technician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Glad we found this place.

Sending love, Lucas. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Thinking of Reading
Hope it all works out, Lucas. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care.
Sending good thoughts. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
I hope things turn around soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of Reading.
Rooting for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out
