Geeta needs my taxi repaired to get back to work in San Jose
Geeta's my taxi is Geeta's only source of income and needs a gearbox replacement costing $1,100.
🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States1,226 views
I make my living with my taxi. 6 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,100. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $620
• Labor charges: $135
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $220
• Towing and inspection: $125
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Sending strength, Geeta. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Greetings from San Fernando.
Hope things get better soon, Geeta. Shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
