Gas fitter needed urgently: Tshepo's home isn't safe
Looking for a licensed gas fitter in Soweto to donate time or work at cost.

In April an inspector told me that my home has faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning. It's a safety risk for me and my three children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $460 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $55.
The job should take about four hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Glad we found this place.

Shared it with a few friends. Put this on a community board in Pune this morning.
Wishing you peace, Tshepo. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Blessings
Stay strong, Tshepo. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'm in nursing myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care.
Sending love. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to Haifa so I could bring a meal. Blessings
You're not alone. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. We're a small family in San Jose but we're thinking of you. All the best
Wishing you peace. Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Soweto.
