Gas fitter needed urgently: Sabina's home isn't safe
A gas fitter is needed to repair dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms at the home of a family of 6.

In August an inspector told me that my home has dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms. It's a safety risk for me and my three children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $280 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $20.
The job should take about three hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sending good thoughts, Sabina. This could happen to any of us. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
Thinking of you and your family. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We're a small family in Pune but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
hope things get better soon, Sabina. Hope you get there. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Quetta!
Thanks for sharing this, Sabina. Your post was clear and honest. I have a 5 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
