Gas fitter needed urgently: Maurício's home isn't safe
A gas fitter is needed to repair a leaking gas line at the home of a family of 6.

In April an inspector told me that my home has a leaking gas line. It's a safety risk for me and my elderly mother. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $660 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $35.
The job should take about six hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

thanks for sharing this, Maurício. Looking forward to the next update. After 18 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything

Wishing you peace. I hope things turn around soon. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
best of luck, Maurício. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We're a small family in Likoni but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Salvador.
