Ali's final semester of a teaching qualification in Abbottabad
A first-generation student, Ali needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a teaching qualification.
🇵🇰 Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan745 views
Ali is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a teaching qualification at the Abbottabad Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $450.
The registrar has said Ali can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Ali has a top-ten-percent average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Ali would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Ali isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Abbottabad Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $450 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $115
• Final term tuition: $280
• Exam and lab fees: $25
• Textbooks and materials: $30
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

you're not alone. Looking forward to the next update. Blessings!
Hope things get better soon. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
Thinking of you, Rashid. Study hard!
