A covered market stall space: a volunteer-led effort in Rennes
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $600 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Pioneer Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 459 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $600 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $155
• Permits and inspections: $155
• Safety equipment and signage: $290
