Gas fitter needed urgently: Alyssa's home isn't safe
Alyssa has a leaking gas line, and can't afford a licensed gas fitter to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In June an inspector told me that my home has a leaking gas line. It's a safety risk for me and my newborn. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $1,050 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $125.
The job should take about six hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

hope you get there. After 25 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Columbus.
Thinking of you and your family, Alyssa. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
Hope it all works out, Alyssa. Shared this with my family. Take care
It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 27 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Montego Bay.
