Gas fitter needed urgently: Allison's home isn't safe
Allison has a failed boiler with no heating, and can't afford a licensed gas fitter to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In May an inspector told me that my home has a failed boiler with no heating. It's a safety risk for me and my three children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $1,800 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $160.
The job should take about six hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Take care, Allison. Hope this works out for you. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
