Garima, 85, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $650 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 85. After a fall and hip fracture Garima can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Garima desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Garima worked all of her life as a shopkeeper, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $650 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $470
• Medication and prescriptions: $70
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $30
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $80
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Thinking of you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Peoria donated after I showed her your page.
hope it all works out, Garima. Shared it with a few friends.
Wishing you peace. Hope the doctors have good news. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Blessings
