Gabriel is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a law degree at Tucson University, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,700.
The registrar has said Gabriel can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Gabriel has a 3.8 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Gabriel would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Gabriel isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Tucson University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.

• Final term tuition: $1,800
• Exam and lab fees: $300
• Textbooks and materials: $300
