Funeral costs for Silvia's mother, Pilar
After the sudden passing of Pilar, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Pilar, my mother, passed away on 28 July after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 41 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,350 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 8 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Pilar to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Transport of the deceased: $130
• Funeral home services and casket: $970
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $250
