Raimundo, my father, passed away on 15 September after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 65 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,950 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 27 September. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Raimundo to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program. Where the $1,950 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $1,050 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $610 • Transport of the deceased: $105 • Memorial gathering for the family: $185 Thank you so much.
