Funeral costs for Miguel's grandmother, Laura
Laura passed away on 1 August; we're raising $1,200 for a respectful funeral in Buenos Aires.

Laura, my grandmother, passed away on 1 August after a short illness. She was 90 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,200 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 13 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Laura to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Buenos Aires hospice.

• Funeral home services and casket: $680
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $340
• Transport of the deceased: $95
• Memorial gathering for the family: $85
