Godwin, my father, passed away on 15 August after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 69 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $800 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 24 August. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Godwin to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $800 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $530 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $190 • Transport of the deceased: $50 • Memorial gathering for the family: $30 Thank you so much.
