Funeral costs for Angela's wife, Brenda

Brenda, my wife, passed away on 5 August after a road accident. She was 92 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $5,000 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 21 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Brenda to have a dignified farewell.

The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,400
• Transport of the deceased: $520
