Emergency vet bill for Oscar in Kandy
Oscar, Sampath's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for a foreign object blocking the intestines costing $150.

Oscar is my German shepherd of eleven years. On 9 April we rushed to Kandy Animal Hospital with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $150.
They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond June.
Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $45 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Kandy Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Oscar's recovery.
Where the $150 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $50
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $75
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $25
