Southampton

Frank is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at Southampton University, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,400. The registrar has said Frank can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Frank has a first-class average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Frank would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Frank isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Southampton University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $5,400 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $160 • Outstanding tuition balance: $2,550 • Final term tuition: $2,690 If you're reading this, thank you.
