Flood in Seville: help the families of Marketplace Lane rebuild
The flood damaged 88 homes in the families of Marketplace Lane. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The flood hit the families of Marketplace Lane on 22 June. My home was one of 88 damaged, and 5 families are still in temporary shelter at a borrowed warehouse.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $4,250 goes:
• Tools and labor for repairs: $910
• Roofing sheets and timber: $2,400
• Food parcels for displaced families: $570
• Clean water and purification supplies: $370
I hope life is good to you.

Take care. Great idea, hope you get there. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best!
hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless.
Hope things get better soon, Manuel. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
