Fighting thyroid cancer: help Paola afford treatment in Bologna

In July I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. My oncology team at Bologna Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in October. I was told to expect about 10 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 36, I worked as a farmer until July, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to Bologna Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $710
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $550
• Transport to Bologna Regional Medical Center: $490
