Fighting thyroid cancer: help Iwona afford treatment in Warsaw

Iwona was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in June. The oncology team at the Warsaw Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Iwona is 49, worked as a bus conductor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Warsaw Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
