Phuket
For four years I have run a fish stall in Phuket. In December, the demolition of the market took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go. Where the $850 goes: • Replacing a freezer and scales: $490 • Initial stock: the first catch: $165 • Shop repairs and licensing: $75 • Working capital for the first month: $120 I hope life is good to you. - Fon

Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about replacing a freezer and scales, advice is welcome too. Fair thing to want to know.

Hang in there, Fon. Small businesses are the heart of Phuket. Hope you're open again soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless.
