Fighting stomach cancer: help Ramona afford treatment in București
12 rounds of treatment are planned at București Cancer Centre; we are asking for help with the costs insurance does not cover.

Ramona was diagnosed with stomach cancer in April. The oncology team at București Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Ramona is 24, worked as a nurse until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to București Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $3,750 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,400
• Scans and lab work: $380
• Transport to București Cancer Centre: $260
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $210
• Household costs while unable to work: $500
