Daniel was diagnosed with stomach cancer in May. The oncology team at Campinas Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Daniel is 27, worked as a farmer until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Campinas Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,200 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $460 • Scans and lab work: $310 • Transport to Campinas Regional Medical Center: $250 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $180 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
