Tim was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in April. The oncology team at Wiesbaden Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Tim is 43, worked as a nurse until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Wiesbaden Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $6,400 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,400 • Scans and lab work: $620 • Transport to Wiesbaden Regional Medical Center: $480 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $450 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,450 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
