Fighting stage 3 ovarian cancer: help Sanduni afford treatment in Colombo

Sanduni was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in May. The oncology team at the Colombo Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Sanduni is 24, worked as a primary school teacher until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Colombo Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
