8 rounds of treatment are planned at the Jakarta Selatan Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Jakarta Selatan
In September I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. My oncology team at the Jakarta Selatan Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in November. I was told to expect about 12 weeks away from work. I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 31, I worked as a taxi driver until September, and I have been the main earner for my household. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to the Jakarta Selatan Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly. My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,050 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $580 • Household costs while unable to work: $270 • Transport to the Jakarta Selatan Oncology Institute: $130 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $70 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
