Back-to-school fund for Jade
Help Jade begin Form 4 with a laptop, uniform and books.
🇬🇧 London, England, United KingdomPosted Aug 13, 2026895 views
I earned a place in Form 4 at London Technical College, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $400, which is more than we have.
I love design and technology and want to become a doctor. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $400 goes:
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $40
• School uniform and shoes: $185
• Textbooks and workbooks: $175
With deep gratitude,
Jade
Updates from Jade
Good news. Because of your gifts ($276 in total) the plan for school uniform and shoes is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
