Fighting stage 3 ovarian cancer: help Mauricio afford treatment in Akron
Mauricio is facing stage 3 ovarian cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Mauricio was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in July. The oncology team at Akron Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Mauricio is 41, worked as a construction supervisor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Akron Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
