Mahesh is facing stage 3 ovarian cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Aurangabad
Mahesh was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in May. The oncology team at Aurangabad University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Mahesh is 50, worked as a taxi driver until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Aurangabad University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $850 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $135 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $510 • Household costs while unable to work: $205 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Neelam
