Liverpool
Ishita was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in August. The oncology team at the Liverpool Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Ishita is 38, worked as a farmer until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Liverpool Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $7,350 goes: • Scans and lab work: $670 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $530 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,250 • Household costs while unable to work: $900 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Radha
