Fighting prostate cancer: help Owen afford treatment in Columbia
Owen is facing prostate cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Owen was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August. The oncology team at Columbia University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Owen is 38, worked as a construction supervisor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Columbia University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
