Fighting prostate cancer: help Emon afford treatment in Gazipur
Supporting Emon through prostate cancer: medication, transport to the Gazipur Oncology Institute, and living costs while He can't work.
Anywhere in the world183 views
Emon was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August. The oncology team at the Gazipur Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Emon is 44, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Gazipur Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $640
• Transport to the Gazipur Oncology Institute: $115
• Scans and lab work: $145
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $100
Thank you so much.

wishing you the best, Dipu. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Gazipur
Good luck, Dipu. It takes guts to ask. Well done. God bless.
