A service dog for Ashwin, an infantry veteran in Jalandhar
After twelve years of service, Ashwin is raising funds for a trained service dog and handler course.

I served twelve years in the infantry and was discharged in 2025 with a traumatic brain injury. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote I have comes to $750.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $750 goes:
• Housing deposit and first month: $390
• Transport to appointments: $60
• Training provider fees: $300
With deep gratitude,
Ashwin

Sending strength. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
Is there anything that isn't money that would help Ashwin?
Thank you. If you're in Jalandhar I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Appreciate you taking the time.
