Fighting prostate cancer: help Dominique afford treatment in Boulogne-Billancourt
Dominique is facing prostate cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Dominique was diagnosed with prostate cancer in May. The oncology team at Boulogne-Billancourt Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Dominique is 45, worked as a bus conductor until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Boulogne-Billancourt Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $9,500 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,250
• Scans and lab work: $890
• Transport to Boulogne-Billancourt Cancer Centre: $480
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $620
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,260

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Dominique
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. chemotherapy and medication not covered comes first ($6,250) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Good question.
