Fighting non-Hodgkin lymphoma: help Laura afford treatment in Berlin
Laura is facing non-Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Laura was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in July. The oncology team at the Berlin Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Laura is 35, worked as a bank teller until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Berlin Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $6,300 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,000
• Scans and lab work: $860
• Transport to the Berlin Oncology Institute: $440
