Fighting multiple myeloma: help Regina afford treatment in New Orleans
Regina is facing multiple myeloma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Regina was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in March. The oncology team at New Orleans Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Regina is 28, worked as a shop owner until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to New Orleans Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $3,350 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $1,250
• Transport to New Orleans Cancer Centre: $720
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,380
