Fighting kidney cancer: help Harper afford treatment in Flint

Harper was diagnosed with kidney cancer in June. The oncology team at Flint Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Harper is 39, worked as a primary school teacher until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Flint Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $9,950 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,500
• Scans and lab work: $1,500
• Transport to Flint Regional Medical Center: $800
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $480
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,670

what exactly is the $9,950 for?
It's all in the list in the story. chemotherapy and medication not covered is the big one at $5,500, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Good question.
