Fighting Hodgkin lymphoma: help Leyla afford treatment in Kadıköy
Supporting Leyla through Hodgkin lymphoma: medication, transport to the Kadıköy Oncology Institute, and living costs while She can't work.
🇹🇷 Türkiye949 views
Leyla was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in November. The oncology team at the Kadıköy Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in February. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Leyla is 37, worked as a shop owner until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Kadıköy Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Transport to the Kadıköy Oncology Institute: $270
• Household costs while unable to work: $440
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $870
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $170
Thank you so much.

Praying for you, Hakan. Shared this with my family. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.
Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Love from Jaipur.
