Lola is facing early-stage lung cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Epe
Lola was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in October. The oncology team at Epe Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in January. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Lola is 47, worked as a bakery worker until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Epe Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,550 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $970 • Scans and lab work: $250 • Transport to Epe Regional Medical Center: $100 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $75 • Household costs while unable to work: $155 Thank you for reading my story. - Jumoke
