Andrew is facing early-stage lung cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Andrew was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in August. The oncology team at the Fresno Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Andrew is 43, worked as a bus conductor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Fresno Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $9,950 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $2,200 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $770 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,980 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Micah
