Fighting colon cancer: help Samuel afford treatment in Santarém
Samuel is facing colon cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Samuel was diagnosed with colon cancer in April. The oncology team at the Santarém Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Samuel is 56, worked as a taxi driver until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Santarém Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
