Fighting colon cancer: help Josiane afford treatment in Strasbourg
Josiane is facing colon cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Josiane was diagnosed with colon cancer in July. The oncology team at the Strasbourg Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Josiane is 40, worked as a taxi driver until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Strasbourg Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $9,150 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,000
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,250
• Scans and lab work: $900
