Fighting cervical cancer: help Ronke afford treatment in Lagos
Ronke is facing cervical cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Ronke was diagnosed with cervical cancer in September. The oncology team at Lagos University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Ronke is 48, worked as a shop owner until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Lagos University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $70
• Transport to Lagos University Hospital: $115
• Household costs while unable to work: $290
• Scans and lab work: $125
