Hip replacement surgery for Noémie: covering what insurance won't
A scheduled hip replacement surgery in June is out of reach without help covering $4,800 of the cost.

Noémie was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections in April. The surgeon at Saint Mary Hospital recommended hip replacement surgery, and She is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $9,500, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $4,800 short.
my mother has been in and out of Saint Mary Hospital since April. The doctors say a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without hip replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $9,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Noémie struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Noémie won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
