Festus's final semester of a law degree in Badagry
Festus has worked and saved for five years to study a law degree; a $650 gap now stands between him and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a law degree at the Badagry Institute of Technology, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $650.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.6 average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $650 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $185
• Final term tuition: $380
• Exam and lab fees: $40
• Textbooks and materials: $45
Thanks for being kind about this.

Hang in there. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
sending love. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Cox's Bazar.
